Well if you ever wonder
What has brought me here today,
I’m hiding scars of battles
And they won’t ever fade away.
So master and brothers
I whisper these words as I bow,
For strength I’m regaining, I thank you for training me in Chi Sau.
Our hands are swiftly rolling
Like you’ve asked me for this dance.
I learn to read intention
And I’ll move through you every chance.
I don’t mind some bruises;
Reminders I’m still standing now.
For strength I’m regaining, I thank you for training me in Chi Sau.
Well if you ever wonder
What has brought me here today,
I’m hiding scars of battles
And they won’t ever fade away.
So master and brothers
I whisper these words as I bow,
For strength I’m regaining, I thank you for training me in Chi Sau. |
